Fees
We will provide you with an individual, no obligation estimate of our fees and out of pocket expenses before we undertake any work for you. Unless there are any unforeseen circumstances that arise, the estimated costs will be the actual costs paid by you.

Our estimate of fees can vary due to the complexity, property value and location amongst other things and we can clarify that our legal fees start from:-

Freehold Sale - from £750 plus vat and disbursements.
​
Freehold Purchase – from £850 plus vat and disbursements.
​
Leasehold Sale – from £1000 plus vat and disbursements.
​
Leasehold Purchase – from £1000 plus vat and disbursements.
​
Remortgage Freehold – from £495 plus vat and disbursements.
​
Remortgage Leasehold – from £795 plus vat and disbursements.

Example Disbursements for a Sale are:
Official copy title and plan - £14
Official copy deed - £7

Example Disbursements for a Purchase are:
Search Pack Approximately £280.00 (this includes Local, Drainage & Environmental)
Land Registry priority search fee £7
Bankruptcy search fee £6 per name
Land Registry fee £150 (varies according to purchase price).
Stamp Duty Land Tax – varies as to purchase price but for example is £3,400 on a price of £268,000.

We can offer on certain cases a service whereby you can provide to us at the outset an additional £30 (including vat) per transaction which will ensure that should that transaction become abortive prior to exchange through no fault of your own you will not be charged for any abortive work undertaken by ourselves to that date.

Introduced Cases – we work with a number of leading estate agents and introducers and on some occasions we may pay a commission or other benefit due to your introduction to us. We will always act in your best interest and you have the freedom of choice as to who you would like to use for your transaction. Fees can vary from £100 upwards. This is payable by ourselves and is not an additional cost to you.
